Rolex Submariner Date

For sale is a Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 16610LV “Kermit” from the early F-series in very good condition, featuring a rare flat-four bezel, a Rolex service card, and a comprehensive set of accessories.

Watch & Design

The Rolex Submariner 16610LV was introduced to mark the 50th anniversary and is considered a transitional model between 5- and 6-digit references.

This example features a harmonious, period-correct configuration: early F-series with a B2 Flat-Four bezel (non-serif) and matching MK1 dial. The bezel displays a rich, unfaded color and is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear.

The sapphire crystal features the typical laser crown at 6 o’clock.

Case & Bracelet

The case and bracelet are in very good condition with slight signs of wear typical for its age. The geometry is excellent: sharp edges, clear finish, and substantial build. Water resistance has been successfully tested to 10 bar.

The Oyster bracelet with solid end links shows virtually no stretch. The clasp shows slight signs of wear, but the crown is still clear and distinct, which is why we deliberately chose not to perform a more extensive refurbishment.

The clasp code AD4 (04/2003) matches the early F-series perfectly and confirms the period-correct overall configuration. Currently fits a wrist circumference of approx. 18.5 cm; additional links available upon request.

Movement

Caliber 3135 with documented Rolex service from 2016 and additional maintenance performed this year (no receipt).

Excellent accuracy of approximately -3 seconds per day at an amplitude of around 300°.

Authenticity & History

Verification in the Rolex system confirms the original delivery as a pre-owned watch, including documented service history. Additionally verified by The Watch Register – no issues found. Documentation available.
